Top Ten Home Businesses

If you are just starting to use the internet and are looking to make some money, here are the top 10 home businesses that you might consider.

1. Affiliate programs. In an affiliate program, you mostly act as a middleman between your partner company and the buying public. You will be promoting the goods and services that your partner merchant company sells, and in return you will receive a percentage of the sales you generate. Alternatively, you can also advertise your partner merchant’s site, and will be paid according to the number of people who you can redirect. Clickbank is an excellent platform for finding partner companies and affiliates.

Bux.to Scam

Major rumors are floating about whether Bux.to is a scam or not. Let me tell you what I personally think about it.

I was a supporter of Bux.to, and I even recruited my elder brother as my downline. I feel really sorry for that, so that’s why I’m posting to warn people not to invest even a dime in Bux.to. I sent a request to cash out part of my Bux.to earnings in March 2008. It’s been over a year, but I’m still waiting for my God dam payouts.

Below is message from a long time supporter of Bux.to. After reading his comments, I’m quite sure that Bux.to is a big scam. Read the rest of this entry »

Karl Green Is Going To File Bankruptcy After He Screwed Up

What a lier! The Truth is: He is a loser. I’ve been receiving emails from him trying to sell make-cash-quick schemes. I know he’s struggling to survive. But I didn’t trust him, and I’m sure other former RIOY members didn’t, either.  Guess what? He is going to file bankruptcy because he’s determined to get away with it after he cheated on us all.  Below is his message. I’m not lying to you. Joining RIOY is definitely one of the most stupid mistakes I’ve ever made in my life. Shame on you, Karl Green!

Kar Green’s email message:

The money we had on deposit for RIOY was paid out as interest only.  Rather than getting the principal back we were to get 30% per month for twelve months.  About a year ago they changed that to 20% for 60 months.  Last night they said that they still do not know when they will start paying but when they do they will be paying less than 10% per month to stay in business.  What’s more they will only let us have our money quarterly and we will have to open an account in their overseas bank for them to put it in.

I don’t know how I will be able to pay you back if I even will but it’s a cinch that what I had planned will not work since I will be getting less than half of what I was counting on to pay you back the way I had it set up.

It will do no good to call or email me because I am broke.  I only have a few hundred dollars in the bank and my income does not cover my monthly liabilities.  As you well know seldom does anyone get even one penny back when a company goes out of business but I am going to do what I can when I can unless I am harassed.  In that case I will file personal bankruptcy and you will get a notice from the government that I owe you nothing.

A Lesson Worth Learning From

Below is an inspiring story from one of my mentors, Jeff Mulligan. I found great encouragement in it. Hope you like it, too.

My son Ryan has a perfect build for a football lineman. He’s a big, solid kid. So when he went out for football this year, that’s exactly where the coaches put him – especially since it was his first year playing.

Of course, like almost every kid in New England, he idolizes Tom Brady and dreamed of playing quarterback.

One fall weekend, his dream came true. Ryan’s team was way ahead of the other team in the 4th quarter when his coach turned to him and said, “Mulligan, want to go in at quarterback?” Read the rest of this entry »

Watch Out For Karl Green And The Programs He’s Promoting!

Like I said on a previous post, Karl Green, founder of RIOY (Retire In One Year), betrayed my trust in him. And, guess what, I just got an e-mail from him in which he was trying to sell me another quick cash program. I don’t know how he dares do this again after he screwed up and closed RIOY without the knowledge of the members. So, for anyone who really wants to make a decent money online, make sure you don’t fall into the trap of those scams like RIOY that only give claims but can’t deliver. Take it from me – Watch out for Karl Green and stay away from the programs he’s promoting.

While I was a member of RIOY, Karl Green and other RIOY guys regularly changed the paramters of the programs they worked with, making it almost impossible to promote RIOY or related programs. And Karl Green constantly dropped the programs that didn’t work and made another claim over and over again. There have never been any previous warnings of those changes he made.

I made deposits to join Karl Green’s programs, but he closed the doors on RIOY out of the blue. When I demanded a refund for the cancelled programs, I was told that I had to accept a small payment spread out over 36 months. I only received one payment, however, before Karl Green said he was not able to make further payments because his account was freezed for some reason out of his control.

To be honest, I didn’t buy his story. But I wasn’t angry at that point. Why? Becasue I was responsible for ending up in a situation like this. My greed put me in this dilemma, and there was nothing more I could do. I could only prayed that Karl Green would refund my investments as he promised (another promise again!).

I fell into the trap of trusting people I’ve never met before. And it looks very foolish on my part. Karl Green never delivered and offered any written contract. So, be careful and think twice before you send him your hard earned money. When you money is sent, there’s no legal way for you to get it back or have a say in how it is used.

What I see the problem with Karl Green is that he never stayed with any program long enough to develop it. Hopping around from program to program would never create any success along the way. The only way to make money online is to strengthen ones skills and learn how to grow a stable business for the long term. We should do something we can really be proud of.

What I went through with RIOY was just a nightmare to me, but I’m to blame for making this stupid mistake. I’m posting this so that other innocent online marketing newbies won’t be fooled or tricked by those so-called online marketing gurus who simply can’t deliver.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a nice day!

Are You Looking to Escape the Rat Race?

When I started my first online business, I was afraid of falling victim to a scam or being ripped-off simply because there were loads of How-To manuals out there. I bought a couple of e-books on how to make money online, including Beating Adwords and The Rich Jerk. Some of them are pretty good and useful (like Beating Adwords) while others are simply crap.

I followed the outlined instructions carefully and, good luck for me, achieved some success. But after that I got stuck for some reason. I couldn’t figure out why this happened. Now matter how hard I tried, my efforts were just in vain. Then, I joined Wealthy Affiliates, and things immediately started taking off. It’s getting better by the day.

Why? You may ask. I think sometimes we all need a good mentor to learn something we can’t learn this from an e-book. Some real-life, hands-on experiences. You see, you can only learn from experience, either your own, or that of others. Unless you have lots of time and money to blow getting your apprenticeship in making money online, you need a good guide. Follow in the train tracks of those with fruit on the tree.

It’s like riding a bike. Do you recall your first attempt? I remember the first time I learned how to ride a bike so well. My father followed me along all way, and I managed about 20 yards before tripping over and falling into a well positioned clump of nettles. I knew the theory. But knowing the theory is one thing and learning how to do it and do it correctly is quite another thing. You can’t learn to ride a bike from a book.

Making money on the internet is no exception. Many so-called gurus out there often use attractive promises on their sales pages to lure innocent readers into buying their stuff. “Buy my book, my course… it will make you rich, make your dreams come true …” Yes, you need tools and knowledge, but what I am saying is that you need someone to guide you, to pick you up, and tell you why your trousers got stuck in the chain causing you to fall into stinging nettles … they’ve been there … they can say you need to put some clips on, or tuck them in …

Truth is, without a good mentor, most people would never achieve success, even making a single, lousy dime online.

“Wealthy Affiliate University” by Kyle and Karson is one of the most excellent membership websites for learning how to make money online. It provides excellent resources, marketing tools, forums, etc. The support they provide is incredible. It has made the difference for me. Clearly the number one!

To learn more about Wealthy Affiliate University, type this phrase into Google and click the search button. The website’s link should be somewhere on the first page. Good luck.

Winning Your Customers’ Trust

WebProNews is a great source of getting all kinds of information about happenings over the Internet and online business. Below is an excerpt of a recent email message I received from them. I find it useful for anyone who wants to create an online business.

After reading this message, I decided to keep on my track; that is, being a 100% affiliate marketer and promoting products and services I like through article writing or other marketing techniques I mentioned on this blog like PPC. Why? Because it’ll take lots of efforts to create a trustworthy, professional online shopping website. Without concerted efforts or team work, it would be a daunting task for an individual to achieve his or her financial freedom earning a substantial income stream as an E-tailer. Okay, let’s get to the point. Below is an abbreviated version of the message I got from WebProNews. Read the rest of this entry »
