I got an email from my Berry Tree/Nutronix upline, Michael A Fowler, this morning. His message is movtiating and encouraging, so I want to share it with anyone who visits my website. Below is the excerpt. It’s well worth troubling about.
Dear Team,
There are two types of people in this world: those who make money and those who make excuses. You have to choose be either one or the other. You can’t be both.
Ask yourself this question, “Would I rather have more money, or more excuses?” What can you buy with excuses? Control your thoughts and stop thinking about why you can”t do certain things or have certain things.
All excuses are nonsense. Why? Because there are well documented records of people who had the same ”mind obstacles” you may be facing, or the same challenges, or the same sort of handicap, yet they have gone on to accomplish things of great magnitude, despite all the obstacles.
Would you like to be remembered as that type of person? I know I certainly would…
It seems like 80-90% of the people we encounter are whiners, complainers, and often make excuses to justify their actions. But … no one really cares what your excuses may be. People are only interested in what you have accomplished with your life.
Ultimately, we only need to justify our actions to one person – The person we observe staring back at us when we look in the mirror. Can we really look ourselves in the eye, if underneath it all, we know that we didn’t give it our all? How can we justify being a quitter and a failure that made excuses?
Here are some of the common excuses people use for not pursuing their dreams:
- I don’t have the education or college degree.
- I didn’t come from a rich family.
- I don’t have the capital or the mindset.
- It takes money to make money.
- I don’t have the time to start a business.
- I lack the business connections.
- I can’t afford it right now.
- I have two jobs, and I can”t do this right now.
- I want more time with my family.
- I don’t think I can do this.
- I don’t have the skills and talents.
- I’m not good looking.
- I didn’t graduate at the top of my class.
- And the list goes on and on…
Do you always throw away your goals and dreams because something is uncomfortable and requires doing things that do not fit into your comfort zone? If it were easy and comfortable, don”t you think everyone would be wealthy? Of course it takes work and of course we have to change and do things differently. Is it worth it to you to make small sacrifices now, to become financially independent and have the time freedom to do as you please, a little later on?
Look at the alternative. You can work one or two jobs until you”re sixty-five, soon to be Seventy. Then retire and wonder if your social security check is going to be enough to cover all your expenses. Imagine being 65 or 70 years old and worrying about paying your bills, wondering how you”re going to afford going to the doctor, taking a vacation, or purchasing a new vehicle… Is that what you want?
It doesn’t have to be that way. You have options. More and more people are starting online based businesses because they know that securing their financial future now is more important than ever. People are waking up and realizing that the world we live in is full of uncertainty.
– You see nature disasters on TV all the time.
– Economic changes that affect all of us such as rising gas prices.
– Corporate downsizing and layoffs means no job security for your family.
– Long commute time to and from work drains our energy.
– Childcare costs are eating a big chunk out of your paycheck.
– Rising healthcare costs makes it a disaster to ever have an illness in the family.
– Inflation will start to rocket very soon.
– Rising interest rates will make your available disposal income smaller.
– Consumers are getting more and more into debt.
Are you going to do something now, before you are forced to? Either by a job layoff, or some other unforeseen eventuality? Isn’t it better to prepare for the future and take control of your own destiny right now? Take the time to learn how to grow a business part-time and getting aid from the Government while doing so.
I know many people just drift with the tide and won’t swim against the current. But you don’t really have a choice here. It’s easier to prepare now for your future, than to not know what to do, if you had no job prospects and a mounting pile of bills. It happens to millions of people each year.
Think about this: Whatever time, effort, work and resources you invest in yourself today, with persistence, will pay off for you in the future. Invest in educating yourself and achieving the right skills. “As you sow, so shall you reap.” (Galatians 6:7-8)
Don’t put off till tomorrow what you ought to be doing today. Stop making excuses and start making a future. Make today the first day of your new life.
1715 PV – Equivalent to $6,500 of Nutronix product sales this month. That’s my tally so far. Now imagine if everyone did only $200 in sales per month… With a downline of 600 people, that’’s $120,000 of sales.
What I am saying to you here, is that there is more to a business like Nutronix and The Berry Tree than just recruiting. Take a more varied approach, expand on all your venues. Product Sales, Marketing, Advertising, all add to your overall success.
Become the business, not just a part of it.
I am still giving $25 rebates to those who purchase GTT’s and BTT’s, along with Jeff’s $50 and others who are participating in this scheme.
Get with your upline, downline and especially new members, to give them as much financial help and product support as possible, so that they can become successful through these mediums.
When those below you grow their business, you grow right alongside them. Leverage is the name of the game. Give to receive and we all prosper.
Remember, we all started from scratch and overcame adversity, doubt and self-denial.
Warmest Regards,
Michael A Fowler
