RIOY Suffers Huge Setbacks, But I’m Still With It

Due to the economy and other factors, RIOY (Retire In One Year) has suffered some huge setbacks. Therefore, another overhaul of the RIOY system was proposed and went into effective starting from November 15th.

I’ve been working RIOY for almost one year, having gone through several big changes that Karl Green, founder of RIOY, made in an effort to improve the system.
To be honest, I’m a little bit frustrated with the latest changes. But I decided to give it another try because I’m eager to become successful and quit my lousy 9-5 job. My mom always tells me, “Do it well if you do it at all.”

Don’t get me wrong. The customer service of RIOY is still excellent and the guys at RIOY are working hard to help everybody succeed. It’s just that the economic depression has dealt a heavy blow to programs RIOY is working with, resulting in big setbacks in RIOY’s income streams. Read the rest of this entry »

Virtual Employees For You Website

I once bumped into a website that has an animated speaking character providing information on the product it was offering. At that time, I was wondering how that character was created. “There must be certain software or service for doing such a thing, ” I said to myself. Well, the puzzle was resolved when I received an email from WebProNews. In the mail, WebProNews promotes a service called SitePal, which is web-based software that allows users to create animated speaking characters as virtual employees on their websites.

How it Works:

Yahoo’s Controversial Deal with Google

Yahoo is still waiting approval from the U.S. Department of Justice on their proposed search advertising deal with Google, but that has not stopped them from making adjustments to their own advertising platform. In fact, some think they might even be doing it to emphasize to critics of the deal, that they are still serious about their own advertising endeavors, and are not just bowing down to the forces of Google.

Google itself has emphasized time and time again that this deal is good for competition, and will not hamper Yahoo’s advertising offering. Yahoo has been relatively quiet on the issue in comparison, leaving most of the defensive tactics up to Google. Google has put up a website dedicated to the “facts” about the deal, and their lawyers are even calling advertisers asking for testimonials for the deal.

Yahoo Search Marketing has implemented a new system for geo-targeting so users can better pinpoint their target markets. Users can now select targets as wide as an entire country, and as narrow as a single zip code. According to Zachary Rodgers at ClickZ, who notes that Yahoo’s geo-targeting offering trumps Google’s who only offers it down to the city level.

A Dummy’s Guide To Creating A Website – For Online Home Business Newbies

One of the components for a successful home-based business is a working commercial website for promoting products or services. Although the information about website creation is already out there and freely available, it is scattered about over the Internet, often incomplete and hard to locate at a later time. Word of Mouth Advertising and The Internet

Since the first days of business, when word of mouth advertising was all there was, nothing has done more for companies than to have people saying good things about them. People believe word of mouth advertising in a way that they will not trust paid ads or commercials. However, word of mouth advertising is not something that happens by chance. You have to generate it in the beginning by turning your friends, neighbors, coworkers, and their network of acquaintances into new customers. From there, it should be smooth sailing for your and your business. Just make sure you don’t disappoint your customers once you have them…

While you can work hard to provide great customer service, competitive prices, and excellent products so that your customers will have something good to talk about, it only takes one dissatisfied customer to equal a hundred satisfied ones. Word of mouth works both way, after all, and it seems that angry people talk a lot louder than those who has a pleasant experience. Read the rest of this entry »
