Redirect And Cloak Affiliate Links

Have you ever heard the hype over affiliate links getting stolen and losing up to 40% of affiliate commission? All those attempts prey on people to instill in their minds that they may not be getting what they deserve. I know that commission stealing is a problem. But affiliate networks like Clickbank and Paydot.com have taken steps to plug the leaks in their systems. So, commission stealing is not my concern here.

I use cloaked affiliate links or redirect pages a lot not because I’m afraid of having commission stolen from right under my nose, but because I’m annoyed at the ugliness of affiliate URL’s.

The whole idea of cloaking or redirecting has much to do with people’s nature. It’s all about psychology. It’s interesting to know Read the rest of this entry »

Without Goal Setting, You Might Wind Up Someplace Else

Setting Goals.

That’s what I’m going to talk about. I find it easier to start with short-term goals rather than long-term goals. A short term goal is what you want to have accomplished 30 days or 90 days from now? A long-term goal is something like where you want to be, or what you want to achieve 2 or 3 years down the road.

However, setting goals is probably the most boring task I could ever imagine. Read the rest of this entry »

6 Tips for Productive Blogging

Creating a blog is a good way to establish your credibility in a specific area. As long as you do it right with blog promotion, search engines will index your blog content and you’ll establish networks of reciprocal and non-reciprocal links, making it easier for potential customers find you and the products/programs you’re affiliated with. Plus, it doesn’t cost a lot to start a blog and it is easier than you think. A blog is really a cost-effective way to create a professional online presence.

What to blog about?

A good thing to blog about would be something you enjoy doing: for example, politics, table tennis, fishing, etc. It’s a good idea to blog about one of your hobbies ’cause you will have a lot to write about it.

Another type of blog would be something like a personal diary, which is written in the first person and relates to happenings in one’s life or other thoughts and bits and pieces on things. I don’t recommend starting this kind of blog, though. You must focus on one area to maximize your earning potential.

Once you’ve settled on a topic, google it to see what others are blogging about it and whether there’s still room for your blog to stand out.

Tips for successful blogging

Blogging has turned out to be one of the most popular online activities. You can use a blog to exchange views or share your hobbies with like-minded people. Plus, blogging can be an excellent source of income Read the rest of this entry »

RIOY (Retire In One Year) – What Is It?

The Retire In One Year program (RIOY) was founded by Karl Green, who is a successful internet entrepreneur dedicated to helping others achieve equal success through teamwork.

RIOY used to work by recommending three quick money programs and help members build their businesses via company advertising. Unfortunately, things did not work out as well as they were expected.

The big question that was nagging RIOY was that members only got leads, not marketers (distributors) through company advertising. Leads are people who opted in for more info, while marketers are those who upgrade to full membership and who are active in working with RIOY.

Some members were having success, but that came mostly from their personal marketing efforts. Speaking from my own experience, only 1 out of 50 people who opted in, ie leads, would upgrade to marketers. At that time, creating a $4,000 monthly residual income (the goal set by RIOY) for every member within one year was almost a mission impossible.

In veiw of this, Karl realized that a big change was needed to remedy the shortcomings. Therefore, starting from the June of 2008, RIOY continued to go through an important transition, making it more strong and reliable so that success is guaranteed even to passive members.

Upon the completion of the program transition, I realized that RIOY has been much enhanced so that each member would now have the best chance for success.

Here is the summary of the current RIOY system. Read the rest of this entry »
