A Millionaire’s Secret
Washington DC was nasty as could be. As I sat on the bench waiting for my bus to arrive I couldn’t wait to get back to the backwoods of Louisiana. There are four different ways of generating value from an article:
1. Send traffic to affiliate programs or products directly:
Sending traffic directly to an affiliate URL is one of the most commonly used techniques associated with article marketing. You simply put affiliate links at the bottom of or embed the links within the text. How well your article converts into sales depend on how captivating it is.
2. Send traffic to a review site:
You can write an article on a specific topic and send visitors to your review website where you compare similar products or services. By the time they get to your website they will be interested in one or several of the products and will be more likely to buy. To increase your exposure, you may want to write an article for each of the products on your review site. One of my major advertising strategies is driving laser-targeted traffic to my review sites. Believe it or not, it works miraculously for me.

Submitting Your Articles
Have you ever heard of ‘Duplicate Content Penalty’? It is a major concern when republishing content. This penalty is applied by Google and possibly other search engines when content found on your website is largely the same as what is found elsewhere on your site or on other websites across. You may want to submit the same article to ONLY one place, or Google will remove your listing from its index. I’ve yet to notice any penalization. If you are really worried, change the content around or only submit original content to one article website.
Speaking from my experience, my articles posted on the following article submission directories get listed on the first page of Google search results very quickly. EzineArticles.com is, without doubt, the number one website where you should have your article posted. But your article will be reviewed by a human editor before it is added to its directory, and no embedded affiliate links are allowed.
